Spencer Foster is a musician based in Austin, TX. A lifelong pianist, he began taking classical lessons at age 5 before attending UT Austin where he studied music privately with professors Jeff Hellmer and Sean Giddings and graduated with a degree in Spanish and Portuguese.

Spencer splits his time between gigging around Austin, teaching, and working full-time at a local non-profit family shelter. Some of his music career highlights include playing accordion in a week-long theater production of The Spitfire Grill, holding a monthly residency with the Shalane Quartet at the Elephant Room, a 6-month weekly residency singing and accompanying himself playing solo piano at a local church, winning a piano chair in the Texas All-State Jazz band before college, and performing in Lincoln Center in NYC with his HS big band as finalists in the Essentially Ellington competition.
